Students must have a basic familiarity with networking concepts including routing, switching and IP addressing. Students should also be familiar with the traditional role of a firewall in network security. Experience with other security technologies (IPS, Proxy and content filtering) can be a plus.

Course Overview

During this introductory-level class, the instructor will lead students through the process of installing, configuring, managing and troubleshooting Palo Alto Networks next generation firewalls. Successful completion of this two-day, instructor led course will enable the attendee to install, configure, manage, and perform basic troubleshooting on the entire line of Palo Alto Networks next generation firewalls.
